Requirements running the extension
  • Latest version of PowerGUI installed
  • Run PowerGUI Script Editor (x86) at least once before using

Requirements for building the source
Enable logging:

Create a Log4Net XML configuration file in your "My Documents" folder with the file name PowerGuiVsxLogConfig.xml.

There is a known issue with running this extension and the Reflector extension. Visual Studio may crash when both are installed.

Fantastic product, except for debugging, just F5 key doesn;t work; we need to press "ALT F5" to make it work. It should be clearly documented.

I had to figure this out for myself, but you need the right version of PowerGUI installed. For example 1.5.5 requires 3.2 (even though the latest is 3.5). Finding previous versions of PowerGUI was a pain in the neck. I ended up finding 3.2. I hope it helps!
